What is SCIlight

SCIlight is a supported living and learning facility for young adults with special needs. "SCI" stands for "Supported Community Integration," "Light" represents the idea of illuminating a path forward and providing hope for a brighter future.

MISSION

To establish supported living and learning facilities that cater to the personal, social, and professional needs of young adults with additional requirements. Our goal is to provide learning opportunities, care, and services, as well as guidance, to help them integrate into the broader community and enable them to pursue independence and thrive in their environment. 

At SCIlight, we envision our facility growing into a vibrant community that offers ample social and job opportunities for our residents. Our goal is to provide a solid foundation for young adults with special needs to take their first steps towards independence, both in their professional and social lives.

We aim to create an environment where residents can develop essential skills, gain work experience, and build meaningful relationships. By fostering a supportive and inclusive community, we hope to empower our residents to confidently navigate the outside world, contributing positively to society and thriving in their personal and professional endeavors.

For residents with more extensive care needs, SCIlight offers tailored support to ensure they can fully participate in community life. We focus on enhancing social skills, promoting independent activities, and providing on-site job opportunities that are both meaningful and fulfilling. We are committed to helping every individual achieve their highest potential, ensuring they have the tools and support necessary to lead enriching and independent lives.
