While our residential living facilities are part of our long-term vision, our Learning Centre and Community Hub are opening first, forming the heart of our supported integration model.
SCIlight School & Learning Centre (Opening Phase 1)
Our Learning Centre offers a nurturing and structured space for academic growth, life skills development, creative exploration, and vocational preparation.
Facilities include:
· A school and learning hub tailored to diverse learning styles
· A library for quiet reading, independent study, and research
· An art & creativity room for expression and therapeutic art activities
· Spacious indoor classrooms and outdoor learning gardens
· A kitchen/eating area

Supported Living
Residential Living Facilities (Phase 2 – Future Development)
Our future plan includes thoughtfully designed residential homes offering:

· Private rooms with personal touches
· Shared kitchen and living spaces
· Lush private gardens for each house
These homes will prioritize both independence and community — giving each resident their own space within a shared, supportive living model.

Our indoor and outdoor learning spaces at Scilight are designed with care to support the diverse needs of our students. Inside, bright and welcoming rooms create space for focused learning, group activities, and calm moments. Outside, nature becomes part of the curriculum — with open areas to explore and a sensory garden filled with colours, textures, and gentle scents that invite curiosity.
Across the campus, small nooks and shared sitting areas offer students places to collaborate, reflect, or simply reset. Every space is created to nurture learning, independence, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.

Our sensory room cater to various fitness and sensory needs, promoting physical health and sensory integration. Additionally, our dedicated spaces for occupational therapy (OT) and speech and language therapy (SLT) ensure that residents receive comprehensive and personalized support. Each of these areas is equipped with safety measures to provide a secure environment that supports independence and well-being.

Our on-site café and lunchroom create a lively hub for learners — a place to cook together, enjoy good food, and socialise in a relaxed, supported setting. The café and small shop also open the door to real work-experience moments and everyday life-skills practice, from preparing snacks to serving others or managing simple purchases.
Every space is designed with safety, dignity, and independence in mind, giving students opportunities to grow confidence, connect with peers, and take part in meaningful daily experiences.

Our facility features a petting zoo, where residents can interact with and care for a variety of friendly animals. Engaging with pets offers numerous benefits for young people with special needs, including reducing stress, improving social skills, and fostering a sense of responsibility. Caring for animals can also enhance emotional well-being and provide a comforting presence, helping residents develop empathy and build strong, nurturing connections. The petting zoo is a cherished part of our community, offering both therapeutic and educational experiences that enrich the lives of our residents.
