  SCIlight offers spacious, fully furnished individual rooms that provide comfort and privacy for each resident. Each room is thoughtfully designed to create a cozy and personal living space, equipped with safety measures to ensure residents' security and foster their independence and well-being. Our indoor and outdoor living spaces at SCIlight are thoughtfully designed to cater to the diverse needs of our residents. The indoor areas provide comfortable, spacious environments for relaxation and socialization, while the outdoor spaces offer a serene escape surrounded by nature. Residents can explore various areas to roam, including a sensory garden that stimulates the senses with its vibrant colours, textures, and scents. Additionally, there are numerous sitting areas throughout the grounds, perfect for quiet reflection or enjoying the company of friends. These spaces are all created to promote well-being, independence, and a strong sense of community.

Residents can enjoy the therapeutic benefits of our swimming pool. It's a refreshing way to stay active and cool. The swimming pool incorporates safety features to ensure a worry-free experience for our residents.

  Our learning center and library are equipped with a wide range of resources to support academic and personal growth and are  tailored to learners with additional challenges. The comfortable and quiet space encourages reading, studying, and creative pursuits, fostering a love for learning. Both areas are designed with safety in mind, providing a secure environment for all activities. Learning and play can occur within the spacious indoor facilities and in the expansive outdoor gardens.

  Our gym and sensory room cater to various fitness and sensory needs, promoting physical health and sensory integration. Additionally, our dedicated spaces for occupational therapy (OT) and speech and language therapy (SLT) ensure that residents receive comprehensive and personalized support. Each of these areas is equipped with safety measures to provide a secure environment that supports independence and well-being.

  The on-site café, spa, and shop add to the convenience and enjoyment of our residents. The café offers delicious meals and a place to socialize, the spa provides relaxing treatments, and the shop caters to everyday needs. These facilities are all designed with safety considerations to ensure a pleasant and secure experience for everyone. All these facilities could also offer work experience and socialising opportunities.

 Our facility features a delightful petting zoo, where residents can interact with and care for a variety of friendly animals. Engaging with pets offers numerous benefits for young people with special needs, including reducing stress, improving social skills, and fostering a sense of responsibility. Caring for animals can also enhance emotional well-being and provide a comforting presence, helping residents develop empathy and build strong, nurturing connections.
